WORLD POLIO DAY
On the 24th of October, the Rotary club of Port Harcourt Cosmopolitan , alongside other clubs and District Leders marked World Polio Day with mass immunizations across several health centers in the district. Attendees were enlightened on the disease and the preventive effects vaccines. They were also asked by the District Governor to encourage they friends and family members to take action and protect their children by getting them vaccinated.
The Rotary club of Port Harcourt Cosmopolitan with other Rotary clubs and health partners rounded up a three day Rotary Family Health Days activities with a continuation of medical consultations, testing and administration of drugs to ensure the well-being of members of our communities.

Rotary District 9141 activities to mark the World Polio Day 2024, started with a thrilling Boat Regatta with Narional, district and club flags hoisted high and around the boats, including that of Rotary club of Port Harcourt Cosmopolitan.
Bikers across the district braved the rains as they rode from state to state to create awareness in solidarity showcasing our commitment to a polio-free world.
It was surely an awesome. A true celebration of unity, service, and the unstoppable spirit of Rotary!
With every wave, cheer, bike and boat, we move closer to eradicating polio and making history together.
